| ［Abstract］ Rectal cancer is a common and frequently-occurring disease, and minimally invasive surgery is the development trend of treating rectal cancer. In this paper, we review the surgical treatment of rectal cancer, the origin and application of transanal total mesorectal excision（TaTME）, TaTME indications and its efficacy, and anastomosis reconstruction. |
