锥形束CT在头颈部肿瘤图像引导放射治疗中的应用

摘要:
[摘要] 锥形束CT(CBCT)是直接整合到直线加速器上的三维成像系统,在图像引导放射治疗中(IGRT)占有重要地位。在头颈部肿瘤调强放疗过程中,CBCT可检验并调整摆位误差、减少外放边界,从而提高放疗的精确性。此外,CBCT还可用于剂量计算,这使得剂量引导的自适应放疗将成为可能。CBCT获取图像时,旁向散射成分会影响图像质量,同时成像过程给患者带来了一定剂量的辐射。该文就CBCT成像系统在头颈部肿瘤中的应用情况进行综述。

The application of cone beam CT in image-guided radiotherapy for head and neck cancer

Abstract:
[Abstract] As a very important component in image-guided radiation therapy(IGRT), cone beam CT(CBCT) is the 3D imaging system directly incorporated into a linear accelerator. In the process of intensity-modulated radiation therapy(IMRT) in head and neck cancer, CBCT can test and adjust the beam position error, reduce the external boundary, resulting in improved accuracy of radiotherapy. In addition, CBCT can also be used for dose calculation, which makes dose-adaptive radiation therapy possible. Flaws for CBCT include poor image quality secondary to lateral scattered radiation and unnecessary radiation exposure for patients during image acquisition. In this paper, we review the CBCT imaging system and its application in head and neck cancer.
